Why haven't you answered my e-mail yet?
I recieve a whole lot of spam. Really. A lot. A lot more than you probably. My solution to this problem is what is known as whitelisting: if your e-mail address is in my address book, then your e-mail gets sent into my unread e-mail folder; however, if your e-mail address is not in my address book, the e-mail instead gets sent to an unknown folder, where it may sit for as long as a month in a pile of 99% spam. I will probably reply eventually, unless I accidently deleted your email, but if you actually are a real live human being who actually knows me and actually needs to get in touch with me then there are quicker ways to do so.
Why don't you update your website that often?
Because I am very busy, that's why.
Why don't you use Microsoft Windows?
Because I don't have to. I can use a real computer.
Why do you use Lisp, instead of [INSERT ANY OTHER PROGRAMMING LANGUAGE HERE]?
Because the only real programming languages are in the lisp family. There are major advantages from features that are just simply not available in any other languages. Lisp is a programming language that allows itself to be rewritten and augmented for the problem at hand. Any feature that appears in any other programming language can be emulated in Lisp, assuming that it isn't already there under some other name. Lisp is a programmable programming language.
Why are there so few questions in this FAQ?
Because people don't ask me very many things all that often.
