Chris Gore: Corporations

Corporations were originally held to very high standards of decency, and their sole purpose was originally not intended to be solely the collection of wealth. This is no longer the case, and most publicly-traded companies have little regard for anything beyond their profitability next fiscal quarter. It is within the rights of the people and within the duties of the government officials to put these entities back on a track that is beneficial for the society at large as well as the shareholders in specific. Situations like Enron should be prevented.

I will not buy a Nissan because of what they have done to this guy whose last name happens to be Nissan, and who has had possession of the domain nissan.com for quite some time. I would recommend that you do the same.

I don't watch CBS News, nor do I consider them a credible journalistic entity. Not that I watch television news broadcasts anyway so this is something of an empty statement (who born after 1975 actually watches the TV news?), but if I did, I wouldn't be watching them at all after this.

McFacts about the McDonalds Coffee Lawsuit. This case is often brought out as a glaring example of what is wrong with our legal system, and why we need tort reform. The truth about the case is very different. Did you know the woman in the case needed to have skin grafts from the incedent?
